Tragic progress

My collection nears completion and com.. Er.. Paintshun.

Most of the McDeath team.

Project coming on doncha think?

I just need Sandra Prangle, Lady and Laird McDeath and at least one more pack or two of clansmen so I can have each clan colour represented.  Quicksure's mounted version is unassembled at the moment.
I also have the zombie clearly used in the card counters as Boney prince Charlie and the LOTR Ent used in Johns painting.  It would be nice to know who the warriors guarding Brewben Keyler's wagon train where that shipped with the deal... Any ideas?

Comments make m..mm...mmm...me haapyee.

  1. Your painting production...is reaching an epic pace. Keep it up, I'm really enjoying seeing these post coming up in my blog feed. Don't forget to take some time to sculpt. I just reorganized my chaos army. I'm going to need 6 new dwarfs/dwerg. ;) Hopefully by June or July....fingers crossed for a new release?

  2. The fighter in the lower left of this picture (Knight of Harkness, maybe?) with the yellow shield is one of my all time favorite King's Minis. . . minis. If I remember correctly, his shield is made from a thumbtack, no? Brilliant stuff, D. I wish I could help complete the collection, but the ones you're missing are damn near impossible to track down.

  3. That is awesome! I picked up a copy of the 'Tragedy' box years ago but never bothered doing anything with it. I may have to try and find it now!
Are you accurately replicating each mini GW used for the original release? That is amazing!

    1. Yes, every one is exactly as listed on the deal flyer, referencing the paintings, symbols and colours used in the card representations of the minis supplied with the box!

  4. The guy with the two handed axed centre(ish) front(ish) is one of my favourite Citadel miniatures of all time, and I would pay good money (and a lot of bad money too to be honest) to get my hands on one, I live in hope that I will stumble across one some day. The only one of those I have is the "Knight of Harkness", and he's a lovely miniature.

Great job on the painting, love them all! :)

    1. Both from Jes Goodwins breif but epic stay on the fighters range! I need another axeman to convert to match the one appearing on the dungeon lairs box art and Heroes for Wargames.

    1. It's okay to love Ents. Just use protection and check for splinters first.

  6. I am absolutely overwhelmed by jealousy right now. I think you have my McDeath set still, as a trade for your lovely Bederken all those many years ago, but I never thought it would blossom into you kicking my ass w/ the painting and collecting of the minis! Gorgeous! I never knew the Dragon Turtle was so wee either! Poor little guy...
Andy Walker, a lot of bad money will get you that mini from me!

    1. Yeah, you are to blame for all this! I will have to wear the badge when I am done collecting!
Jeesh it will be epic seeing the game with actual figures painted up as intended.

    3. He is part of a three pack. Laird, lady and Sana McPrangle. Just to fill those specific gaps.

  7. Hi Delaney, how is the McDeath collection coming on? Are they all painted yet? Can you show us the zombie you are planning on using for Boney Prince Charlie?
